Each episode is an honest conversation about the Bible, life, and faith — with room for questions, tension, and discovery. While we may not know everything, we believe we can live with confidence in Christ and let our love for God overflow into our love for others.

Ep. 25 - Encountering Jesus: The Criminal & The King
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
In Luke 23:26–46, we encounter one of the most powerful moments in the Gospel: a dying criminal recognizing the true King hanging beside him.
This conversation at the cross is one of the clearest pictures of grace in all of Scripture. The criminal had nothing to offer—no good works, no time to make things right, no way to change his past. All he brought was the recognition that Jesus was exactly who He claimed to be: the King whose kingdom extends even beyond death.
In this episode, we talk about why this encounter matters so much for our understanding of grace. It reminds us that salvation isn’t something we earn or achieve. We often try to make faith about what we bring to the table, but this story strips that idea away completely.
The criminal brought nothing but his need—and found everything in Jesus.
It’s a reminder that grace has never been about us.
It has always been about the King.
